This is a nice surprise, my lovely missus came back from Lidl with a nice little treat for me.... and that was a Bonsai tree! I have always wanted a Bonsai but have been put off by the price so they do make a nice pressie. As I understand it the Bonsai tree I have is of the Ficus variety and from what I have read they seem to be a great Bonsai for beginners so I will be excited when it comes to pruning and making it look even more fab.

Bonsai is the Japanese art of growing miniature trees by restricting the growth of the plant through various pruning and cultivating techniques.
Good for you, that is a good choicing for beginners.
